These are a couple of photos from the transaxle pan of my 2002 Prius.  Currently, this is as far as we've disassembled it.

This is the debris collected in the pan.  There isn't much at all on the magnet.  It's difficult to see because of my poor focus technique, but the lower left corner contains a fair bit of off-white material that crumbles like old plastic.
